What we collect, who sees it, and how long it stays.

## What we collect

Your account details; the documents you upload; the names and email addresses you type for signers; and the record of each signing (time, address, browser, wording agreed). Payment card details are never collected by Docustay: payments use Stripe's hosted page.

## Who sees it

Your workspace's people, as you assign them. The signers you send to see only their own document. Docustay staff do not read your documents. The companies that help us run the service are listed under Sub-processors.

## How long it stays

A signed document is kept for the period you set, or indefinitely if you leave it empty, and is never deleted inside that period. You can delete unsigned documents. Removing a contact detaches their signed documents rather than destroying them.

## Your rights

Ask us for a copy of your data or its deletion at privacy@docustay.app. The full wording is in the Privacy Policy and the Data Processing Addendum.

## A worked example: a signer's data

A tenant signs a lease addendum. Docustay keeps the tenant's name and email as typed by the landlord, the time and address of each step, and the text the tenant agreed to. The landlord can see the document and its record. The tenant sees only their own document. Neither can see another landlord's documents, because they belong to a different workspace.

## What a signer is shown

A person you send to sees the document, their own fields and the wording they are agreeing to. They do not see your other documents, your workspace or the other people on it unless you add them as a viewer. The sealed copy they receive carries the record of the signing, so both sides can show the same evidence.

## Deleting and exporting

You can export your documents from the workspace. Unsigned documents can be deleted. Signed documents stay for the keep period you set, so a record that others rely on is not lost by accident; removing a person from your contacts detaches them from signed documents rather than destroying the record.

## Asking us

Write to privacy@docustay.app to ask for a copy of your data or its deletion. The Privacy Policy and the Data Processing Addendum hold the formal terms.

## Asking about your data

To ask for a copy of your data, or to have it deleted, write to the privacy address on the Contact page from the email address on the account. We answer by email.
